This is a beautiful boot, style-wise, and relatively comfortable once I figured out the right size. The quality control, though - in my experience - is poor. I tried four pairs of these (three from Amazon, one from Zappos), and each one had issues. Two pairs had a heel that wasn't attached properly (one was off center and one was slanted), which made them very unstable, and two pairs had significant amounts of glue on the suede (smears and blobs on the top and sides). The most recent ones I ordered were on sale, though, so I am going to keep them in spite of the glue - I just love the style.

I've been searching for a black suede bootie with a great heel for nights out in the colder months. I looked at a few different brands, but some heels were just too high. I chose the Rockport booties because they have a platform as well, which makes it a lot easier to walk in and takes the pressure of the front of your feet.
Some other reviews say that the shoe runs narrow, which is true. I usually wear these with tights or really thin socks if I wear them with jeans. I can usually wear fairly thick socks with boots in winter but not with this pair. That's not really a big deal for me though.
I didn't have any problems with the product when I received it - the manufacturing and quality is fine with my pair.
They look really great with a pair of jeans, and I've received several compliments when wearing them. However, I probably wouldn't recommend wearing them for an entire day walking around in the city. I don't think they're made for hours and hours of walking around (which is what I did one day and my feet were not impressed). But for a stylish night out, they're perfect.

When I saw this shoe I absolutely fell in love with it and even though I currently live in Australia I decided to order it because of the positive reviews. My feet are not wide but regardless I ordered the shoes in 5.5W (my feet are very small). Therefore, I was even more surprised when the shoes arrived and were VERY NARROW. I had also received another pair of Rockports in the same size that fit just fine so I am highly disappointed they ran so small. The box was not sealed and kind of beaten up, indicating that the shoes had already been sent back before - they are absolutely not true to size! Unfortunately, I had to send the shoes back and to pay over $60 just because they didn't hold what they promised... Otherwise the shoes were fine. I would have definetely kept them if they were true to size.
