I bought these boots from a Camper boutique in Madrid over the summer, and I've been desperate for the weather to cool off so I could finally wear them. Now I have, and I have to say: I love them. I love the look, I love the fit, I love the style. I've worn them with jeans and with knee-length skirts (I was afraid that would be a little odd, but it works). I love the contrast of the blue-ish elastic laces on the black boots. I love the rounded toe; I love the side zip and the contrast stitching. I love them so much I contemplated buying the knee-high version, as well.
I'm giving them 4 stars only because I wish they were slightly more generous in the ankle, or something: I do -not- have wide ankles, but they're fitted at the ankle and this means that the zipper does creep down ever so slightly as I wear them. There's never a risk of the boot coming undone or god forbid coming off my foot, but it's annoying. They're also a bit snug to pull on the first few times you wear them because of the position of the zipper and how your heel fits. That's easy to move past. Love them.

These have to be the most comfortable new shoes ever! No breaking in period whatsoever. However, they do trend a bit narrow, so if your feet are even the tiniest bit wide, give these a pass.

I love these boots, but unfortunately I ordered one size too small for me. I'm usually size 7 with Camper shoes but these ones were a little tight, not the length or toes part, but the whole thing was clinging onto my foot. I can't really tell if size 8 would have been perfect, but I got the feeling that the boot is somehow tight around the upper arch of the foot. Not sure if it just didn't suit the shape of my feet. I have thin feet, not flat. But it was hard to push my foot inside. I found that strange; your foot just doesn't slide in. But I loved the color and leather and laces. And the inner cushioning is comfortable, if you could find the right size for your feet.
