This boot is perfect. Easily transitioning from casual to dressy, this boot goes with everything. The boot perfectly fits my very slim calves...beware if you have even slightly wide calves. I am 5' 5" and the boot reaches just under my knees without being awkward to sit or walk. I usually wear a size 8, these were right on. The quality is excellent!

I am very pleased with the Hesper Boot in Black. I needed an all around boot that looks good with dresses, tights, and leggings. I am 5'9, normally wear a size 9 shoe, with a 14.5" calf circumference (which is apparently slim in the boot world) and a narrow ankle. I have a terrible time finding boots that fit smoothly around the calf without gapping, and be snug around my ankle.
This boot is very shapely on the leg. I felt the Hesper ran big, as I ended up purchasing a 8M. After wearing for a week, they have molded to my feet and are so comfortable. I've received so many compliments. This is my 2nd pair of Lucky Boots. The only thing I changed on my boots is I have the shoe cobbler add a durable rubber heel cap. I feel the existing heel cap is too plastic-like and is slick in the rain.
Supple leather, holds up to the rain. Super happy with this purchase!

I have the brown boot in a size 8 which fit perfectly. Today i recieved the black in size 8, and can't even get my foot in them. They must go back.
