The leather upper is crafted with subtle pleating on the forefoot and twin decorative buckle straps at the shaft, along with a side zipper for easy on and off access. I probably would need to get these is a 1/2 a size larger than my normal 7.5. With socks on, they are not comfortable. They look very nice but the exchange isn't worth it to me. It might work for you but order your size plus 1/2 size up.

I need to wear shoes with comfort and support and these definitely fit the bill--difference between these and other "comfort shoe" companies is these have alot of "STYLE"

I chose this boot because I wanted something comfortable and stylish to wear with skirts or jeans. This boot is beautiful, very comfortable and the leather is supple and rich-appearing. I wear a "wide" and true to a review I had read prior to purchase, it is a little wider than I would prefer in the heal; however, with socks, I have no problem with slipping.
