I bought a pair(the Stephanie boot) for my wife and she loved it for two weeks until it began to fall apart. The "comfortable sole" is it's downfall as the heel seems to be made of a compressed cardboard material (TPC, many La Canadienne use this product) that absorbs and expands with water contact making the rubber release from it. Despite this, La Canadienne refused to warranty these $400 boots. I would never buy a pair of La Canadienne boots again after what we went through with their customer service.

Last year I bought two pairs of these and used one with the rain recently. I was under the rain for no longer than 30 minutes, walking, and for a few minutes it was heavy rain. The boots were ruined. I emailed customer service and was told the warranty covers 6 months. I thought it was a joke, but it was not.

I very much like these boots and by far they are my favorite. The have a rubber heel and sole which I like because it absorbs impact and not loud when walking on hard floors. I've been looking for a cool pair a slouch type boots and I am glad I found these. The boots are not too high and has small platform that balances the height of the heel. I've worn them with leggings and I have received a lot of compliments. Sweet!
